Friends and customers have been extremely generous. I have now opened a special fund raising bank account so if any one would prefer to send a cheque I can let them know who to make it payable to.Thank you to everyone who has supported me.
* Having trained as a chef at Claridges, London in the late 70's I have worked in a variety of hotels and gastropubs ever since. I currently work at Buratta's at the Royal Oak, Ruscombe, Twyford, Berkshire (see below). We (my wife Carole and I) have two grown up kids who have flown the nest but keep coming home! We have enjoyed a lot as a family - including renovating / rebuilding our house and a few long haul holidays. I have always loved motorbikes and cars and have owned many money eating two and four wheeled "classics" including a Jaguar E-Type!
